A notice to all Lagacy Account Holders:

If you are a Legacy Account Holder- meaning, you are already an approved member from one of our previous websites- you may have a credit balance on our old wallet-based code purchasing system. This type of system is no longer allowed by a variety of industry guidelines (like PCI Compliance, FCPA, and IRS). Because of those regulating standard changes we have built a modern website with an up to date checkout that saves your payment information securely, allowing for speedy checkout every time you need a code.

Your old wallet balance credits are still available to you. Integration of those credits was too difficult to implement in this current website but CSR’s on duty have full access to the data and are able to process your code requests and use your credit balance up as needed.

You must email [email protected], call, or text your request to 800-552-0585 to use those credits. Simply put your user ID number (security ID and any additional pins you may have placed on your account), VIN, type of code you need, and specify to use your wallet balance. The CSR on duty will verify the account, verify the wallet balance, run your code request, and return it to you ASAP.

You will be notified after every balance use of your remaining credit. After your balance is reduced to zero you will not be able to add more to that system. You will need to either place a payment card on your account via phone call or request codes on the website from that point onward.

This notification on 2/27/2025 will serve as the official notification of a 2 year countdown. On 2/28/2027 any Legacy Account Holder that has not notified us of their intent to use their remaining wallet balance on file shall have any funds deleted from LKC Services Inc corporate liability accounts. Basically, let us know you want to use it or lose it. To be clear: Anyone that tells us you are still in business, know you have credits, and want to use them will NOT lose their credits on 2/28/2027! We have thousands of members that have minuscule amounts of money on this old credit system (from .09 to $2). We have no idea who is still in business, who may not even still be alive (COVID effected a lot of people), or thinks we are no longer in business and have moved on to a different code company. Locksmith Key Codes has, from its very inception, always had a policy that ANY funds placed in wallet are non-refundable. We would prefer any credits owed get used. Eventually, once we can implement it, we will want to put a gift certificate system in the website to house any current wallet funds owed.
